Some of you may know that over the summer I started working part time for a local mobile flower truck, Ma Jolie Marche, and have now become very very good friends with the owner (and my best friend also works for the truck!) so as an end of the season celebration, we decided to take a little trip up North to Grand Marais. It was such a beautiful trip with some of the best people. We stayed in a boutique hotel called The Mayhew Inn, I highly recommend if you ever take a trip up there and we just got to journey around the small town and then we also had some great planning sessions for next season!
Here are some of the many pictures I took during our trip! We were able to blend in (sorta!) with the local bars there and we had some delicious eats and did some local shopping!
We even saw some native wildlife and saw a Bobcat and it’s cub(?) crossing the street on our way up to the Hungry Jack Lodge (which we also found out later was closed during off season…I guess we were a bit too early for their winter season).
Although not much snow in downtown Grand Marais, once we got up to the Lodge, it was definitely a winter wonderland. My favorite winter pictures is snow frosted on pine trees.
This was the view after we hiked up to one of the peaks. It looked down on this lake and we even found a little secluded cabin on the shore. Can you say picturesque?
Stunning pics! It’s so majestic up there, and you managed to capture it all! X, amy
